To provide a remote controller of an air conditioner capable of preventing incomplete confirmation of failure codes in a case when failures occur in a plurality of indoor units.
A device for remotely controlling a plurality of air conditioners connected to a pair of communication lines 3 by a programmed microcomputer 4, includes a failure code displaying means 6 displaying a failure code of a connected indoor unit 2, a failure code display/non-display switching means 7 for switching display/non-display of the failure code display means 6, and an indoor unit identification number display means 8 displaying an identification number of the indoor unit 2 to be displayed by the failure code display means 6. When the failure code display/non-display switching means 7 is operated in occurrence of failure, the display of the indoor unit identification number display means 8 is automatically switched to successively display the failure codes of the failed indoor units 2 on the failure code display means 6.
