Abstract:
To provide a remote controller capable of suppressing erroneous detection of a touch due to noise.SOLUTION: The remote controller comprises: a capacitance touch panel including a touch electrode; a proximity sensor for detecting proximity of an operator; a touch detection part configured to detect a touch made by the operator on the touch panel on the basis of a capacitance value of the touch electrode and a preset threshold level of the capacitance; and a threshold level setting part for setting the threshold level. The threshold level setting part is configured so as to, when no proximity of the operator is detected, set the threshold level to a first threshold level, and when a proximity of the operator is detected, set the threshold level to a second threshold level lower than the first threshold level.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
