PURPOSE: To provide a remote controller which can perform the independent and free control of plural mobile objects.

CONSTITUTION: A tablet board 40 contains a transmission coil 44 and a loop coil array 46. A mobile object 10, i.e., a robot which moves along the surface of the board 40 contains a resonance coil 16 and a control part 18. The part 18 controls the signals which are transmitted and received by the electromagnetic induction generated among true coils 16 and 44 and the array 46. A controller 60 transmits and receive the signals to and from the object 10 by the preceding electromagnetic induction to give an operating instruction to the object 10 and also to detect the position of the object 10 on the board 40.
