To collect meter value data over a wide area such as electricity, tap water, and gas without being affected by the presence or absence and change in the telephone line at a user's home, and to reduce introduction costs, installation construction costs, and application costs regarding a remote data collection system using a radio network.

A radio transducer is mounted to a monitoring measurement terminal device for acquiring such data as a meter value, monitoring measuring terminal devices within distance where data can be transmitted and received by the radio transducer are grouped, and one of the monitoring measuring terminal devices in the group is set to a master 1-1 that can be connected to a radio base station of a communication entrepreneur and another monitoring measuring terminal device in the group is set to slaves 1-21 to 1-23. Each of the slaves 1-21 to 1-23 transmits or relays such monitoring measurement data as a meter value to the master 1-1 by the radio transducer, and only the master 1-1 transmits the monitoring measurement data to the data collection center together via the communication entrepreneur's line.
