PURPOSE: To enable another user to use an image forming device before a user knows a fare by remotely inputting an image forming mode and decides whether or not to actually make image formation and to improve the efficiency of the device by using the remote image forming mode signal transmission device.

CONSTITUTION: A control section 4 sends a signal to a signal transmission section 5 and this signal transmission section 5 sends the signal of the effect that a device B is selected when the signal for selecting the device B is outputted by an operation section 3. The device B receives the signal by a signal reception section 8 and sends this signal to a control section 10 on the device B side. This control section 10 receives data from a memory section 12 according to the signal received from the signal reception section 8 and transmits the data relating to the device B through the signal transmission section 5 to a device A. The device A receives the data by a signal reception section 7 and stores the data in a memory section 6. A control section 4 executes computation in accordance with the contents stored in the memory section 6 and the contents inputted from the operation section 3 and displays the contents of the memory section 6 and the contents inputted from the operation section 3 and the results of the computation on a display section 1 through the memory section 2.
