Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote inspection device and a method for the narrow part of a vertical furnace capable of safely and efficiently performing the inspection of the narrow part of a vertical furnace without performing new vertical furnace modification.SOLUTION: Provided is a remote inspection device comprising: an imaging apparatus including an omnidirectional camera and an antenna and a luminaire sending an image imaged by the omnidirectional camera; a winch winding-up and winding-down a winch wire elevating the imaging apparatus; and an image treatment apparatus correcting the image strain of the sent image. Upon the sending of the winch wire into the vertical furnace, through a strut and a guide support arranged in the vicinity of the opening part of the furnace tip of the vertical furnace, a structure arranged directly below the opening part of the furnace tip is avoided.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
