Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote maintenance system and remote maintenance method capable of addressing equipment malfunction while protecting the respective confidentiality of a user and an administrator against each other.SOLUTION: A first hash value H1 is generated by combining and hashing log information Log acquired from a device 1 and a data string D specific to the device 1 (S1); the value is encrypted to generate an access key A at a management device 4 (S2); the access key A, log information Log, and the data string D are input from a device controller 2 to a solution providing device 6 (S3); thereby allowing the solution providing device 6 to output a solution only if the input information is authentic and implement the solution on the device 1 (S4 to S9).
