Abstract:

To provide a remote monitor for elevators capable of reducing the communication expenses with a monitoring center.

The elevators are monitored by monitoring processing parts 10a-10c installed on control panels 14a-14c for controlling the elevators and the result is informed to the monitoring center 1, and a talk between an interphone in the car and the monitoring center 1 is established, and through a wireless public network 2 a communication with the center 1 is exchanged by a wireless communication processing part 3 connected with the monitoring processing parts 10a-10c through a communication line provided separately from the parts 10a-10c and designed for the one to n communication, and thereby communications using the wireless public network are conducted, and the communication expenses with the monitoring center 1 is reduced.
