Abstract:
To provide a remote monitoring system that enables simple remote monitoring of an unmanned substation premise regardless of the layout or the change of the layout in the unmanned substation.SOLUTION: A remote monitoring system includes a self-propelled device 20 that patrols an unmanned substation premise and images equipment on the premise and a control device that remotely controls the self-propelled device and receives patrol data from the self-propelled device. The self-propelled device includes a command receiving unit 241 that receives a movement command and an imaging command from the control device, and a drive unit 242 that drives a traveling device 21 such that the self-propelled device patrols the premise on the basis of the movement command, an imaging unit 243 that images the equipment on the premise by the imaging device on the basis of the imaging command, and a patrol data transmission unit 245 that transmits patrol data including video data captured by the imaging unit to the control device.
