To provide a novel remote-operated drain valve device suitably usable for a so-called "low floor" bathroom unit provided with a bathtub of low step-over height installed on a low floor waterproof pan.
This remote-operated drain valve device allowing drainage of the bathtub 1 to flow into a drainage trap part 3 of the waterproof pan 2 connected through a connecting cylinder 4 is composed of a bathtub drain valve 6, a cable 7 for transmitting opening/closing of the bathtub drain valve 6, and a remote operating part connected to the other end of the cable 7. The cable 7 led into a cable lead-in cylinder 8 integrally formed at the connecting cylinder 4 and projected obliquely upward, from obliquely above, passes through a lower part of or below the connecting cylinder 4 and is turned upward in a cylindrical part 4a of the connecting cylinder 4 and connected to a lower part of the bathtub drain valve 6.
