This remote operation support method supports from a remote place the operation of an operator at a site in the case of inspecting, operating or measuring a plurality of devices at the site as objects for maintenance and inspection having no remote operating function installed at the site of the plant or the like by the on-the-spot operator carrying a terminal while patrolling. Each of the plurality of devices at the site as objects for maintenance and inspection is provided with a radio tag capable of transmitting inherent individual identification information at least storing the number of the device to be collated by a remote support device at least storing the data on the devices at the site through the terminal carried by the on-the-spot-operator.
