Abstract:

To provide a remote starting device with enhanced safety, in a vehicle having a immobilizer function.

This device is provided with a remote starting part that outputs IG-on signals when engine start is instructed from a remote place and a immobilizer part that outputs inquiry signals when receiving the IG-on signals. The remote starting part has a means that responds to the inquiry signals and outputs a code registered in the remote starting part (remote starting part code). The immobilizer part has a means that outputs the inquiry signals to the remote starting part when a code for the remote starting part is registered in the immobilizer part, and a means for giving engine start permission when the remote starting part code outputted from the remote starting part by responding to the inquiry signals corresponds to the code for the remote staring part that is registered in the immobilizer part.
