Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an impact of smoke and remotely grasp a disaster occurrence state, a victim state and a traffic state more surely when a fire occurs in a tunnel.SOLUTION: A remote monitoring device for the inside of the tunnel comprises: a fire hydrant with fire extinguishing equipment placed in each section in the tunnel; a camera for taking an image of the inside of the tunnel placed with attaching to the fire hydrant; and a controller installed in a disaster prevention center being outside the tunnel for enabling remote monitoring by a watcher in the disaster prevention center by displaying the image of the inside of the tunnel taken with the camera.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
