PURPOSE: To remove corrosive components easily at a high removal ratio, by washing the gas light oil containing the corrosive components against steel material such as H2S or the like by an aqueous alkali solution.
CONSTITUTION: A benzene-containing oil (an absorbing oil containing gas light oil) supplied from a conduit 1 is distilled in a stripping tower 2 and the gas light oil and steam are distilled out from a top part 2D and, after cooled by a cooler 6, entered into a first stationary separator 7. On the other hand, a benzene-free oil is withdrawn from a lower part 2B. The water accumulated in a lower part 7A of the stationary separator 7 is withdrawn and the floating gas light oil is sent into a second stationary separator 11 and mixed with an aqueous alkali solution in a conduit 10 and a H2S type component in the gas light oil is transferred to the aqueous alkali solution. The separated aqueous alkali solution is returned to a recirculation tank 13 of the aqueous alkali solution. The gas light oil is sent to a third stationary separator 18 and mixed with water 17 in a conduit 16 and residual alkali and salts in the gas light oil are transferred to water. The floating light oil is sent to a reflux tank 21 from a conduit 20 and an appropriate amount thereof is supplied to the stripping tower 2 and the excessive gas light oil is sent to a steel storage tank 23 for storage.
