Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for at least partially automatically removing intestines from a slaughtered body, and to provide a device therefor.
SOLUTION: This method for removing intestines from an abdomen-opened slaughtered body, especially the slaughtered body of a sheep, pig or cattle, is continuously provided with a step for disposing at least a bracket member 9 at an operation position between the peritoneum and the abdominal wall of the slaughtered body, a step for moving the bracket member 9 in substantially parallel to the backbone and thereby for at least partially removing the peritoneum together with organs disposed therein from the abdominal wall, and a step for carrying the bracket member 9 from the work position to the outside of the slaughtered body.
