To provide a method for removing a picking-missed yarn in a loom, capable of utilizing an existing device to remove the picking-missed yarn without using an exclusive pulling device on the detection of the picking miss.

In this loom in which a weft-picking operation is carried out by catching a weft 2 supplied from a weft-supplying member 3 with the peripheral surfaces of rotation rollers 8 on a weft route between the weft-supplying member 3 and a main nozzle 10, transferring the caught weft toward a nozzle, and simultaneously assisting the weft 2, when a picking miss is detected, the loom is stopped in a state that the weft 2 is connected to the main nozzle 10, and the missed yarn 2a is exposed on a cloth fell 24. While the weft 2 is caught with the peripheral surfaces of the rotation rollers 8, the rotation rollers 8 are subsequently reversely rotated to pull out the missed yarn 2a from the cloth fell 24.
