PURPOSE: A remover for active oxygen, containing fisetin which is a flavonoid as an active constituent, having removing action of the active oxygen, and capable of preventing and treating chronic rheumarthritis, allergic diseases and hepatic disorder.
CONSTITUTION: A remover for active oxygen containing fisetin expressed by the formula. The active oxygen, oxides and peroxides take part in onset and worsening of many diseases. The fisetin has been recently found to have inhibitory effect on inflammation induced from PMA (Phorbol Myristate Acetate) involving the active oxygen. Examples of inflammatory diseases for which prevention and treatment can be expected by the removal of the oxygen include chronic rheumarthritis, acute and chronic hepatitis, bronchial asthma, etc. The dose thereof is 200mgW5g for oral administration and 100mgW1.5g for intravenous injection.
