Abstract:
PURPOSE: To effectively remove deposit such as iron powder and coating mist on the coating face of a vehicle and machinery by mixing fine particles of a specified particle diameter for polishing with the whole of a soft base material and moving the produced plastic soft material while pressing the plastic soft material against the coating face.
CONSTITUTION: A plastic soft material is used in the case of removing only deposit such as a small projection 5 stuck on a coating face 4. The plastic soft material 1 is produced by mixing fine particles 3 of 3-50μm particle diameter for polishing with the whole of soft base material 2. The soft base material 2 has plasticity and the fine particles are used which are pushed into the inside and hold such a state as these are not projected on the surface of the contact face of the base material 2 and get into the inside of the base material 2 to the small projection 5 by pressing the plastic soft material 1 against the coating face 4 at time of use. In this case, deposit on the coating face 4 is removed by spraying water on the coating face 4 or the soft material 1. Furthermore, a retainer is desirably used which is formed of a sponge containing water and a supporting member of the sponge.
