To avoid brakage of glass body and unrequired mixing of different kinds of substances by introducing a metal socket to be removed in an induction electric field coil functioning area, supplying a current to the coil for forming a magnetic field, heating the socket to thermally expand the same, thereby loosening the connection between the socket and a glass body, and then removing the socket.
Sockets 4a, 4b of a fluorescent lamp 2 are disposed in induction coils 40a, 40b, and a glass body 6 is fixed with holders 44a, 44b, 46a, 46b. The coils 40a, 40b are then supplied with current to generate magnetic fields 42a, 42b, thereby heating and expanding the metal portions of the sockets 4a, 4b and contact pins 8a-8d. Thereafter, the sockets 4a, 4b are drawn out of the glass body 6 by use of a gripper to A and A1 directions. Accordingly, there is no fear that the sockets 4a, 4b are contaminated with harmful contents in the glass body 6, e.g. heavy metal or mercury.
