To provide a rental information system in which information is simply rented by using a communication channel.

The system is provided with a rental information transmitter 2 and a rental information receiver 3. The rental information transmitter 2 has an information transmission means 17, a time calculation means 18 and a display means 20. The rental information receiver 3 has a reception information storage means 22, a reproduction means 26 and a delete confirmation means 28. The time calculation means 18 receives a storage delete confirmation signal to calculate a rental information from the transmission of rental information by the information transmission means 17 till the reception of the storage delete confirmation signal. The delete confirmation means 28 sends a storage delete confirmation signal to the rental information transmitter 2 when the rental information stored in the reception information storage means 22 is deleted.
