PURPOSE: To easily and efficiently repair the section of a steel sheet pile, by forming a wire brush roll to a cylindrical shape, rotating the roll at a high speed and forcibly contacting the wire brush roll from the front to the section of the steel sheet pile.

CONSTITUTION: A cylindrically formed wire brush roll 2 is set on a longitudinally movable sliding table 3, driven by a motor 4 and engaged to an end face of a steel sheet pile 1 under a suitably forcibly contacted condition while being rotated to speed of about 40rpm. Grinding is performed in a forward direction of rotation for about 10W15sec at the beginning, then in a reverse direction of rotation for about 10W15sec. In accordance with a shape and/or generated condition of burrs in a pawl part of the steel sheet pile 1, a brush roll shaft is tilted in a range of 0W90°, and the brush roll is engaged to the end face of the steel sheet pile 1.
