PURPOSE: To obviate the generation of uneven colors by coating a vehicle with a color determining paint mixed with an under coat and pearl base paint then coating the same with a pearl paint mixed with the pearl base paint at the higher ratio and coating the same with only the pearl base paint.

CONSTITUTION: The coated surface of the pearl coated vehicle is coated with the color determining paint mixed, at 1:1 ratio by weight, with the under coat prepd. by adding an additive and solvent to the color-adjusted paint adjusted in color to meet with the color of the primer coat polished and exposed by sandpaper and the pearl base paint prepd. by adding an additive and solvent to the pearl base agent in the stage of repairing said surface. THe coated surface is then coated with the pearl paint prepd. by mixing 95% pearl base paint by weight to 5% color determining paint and is then coated with only the pearl base plate. The coated surface is subjected to finish painting in succession thereto. As a result, the thorough repair is made possible without generating the uneven colors at the boundary part between the repaired part and the non- repaired part. Since the repair can be made to the min. required area, lower cost is attainable.
