To provide a repairing and reinforcing structure for an existing wall body rationally improving proof stress while utilizing the existing wall body such as a balustrade without dismantling and removing it, thereby shortening a construction period and reducing environmental loads to reduce cost and moreover achieving high durability.
The repairing and reinforcing structure for the existing wall body comprises reinforcing plates 12a, 12b integrated sticking, through adhesives 14, to both faces of the existing wall body 2 integrally erected on a floor slab 4; connecting members 16 penetrating the existing wall body to connect the reinforcing plates on both faces to each other; a coping plate 18 provided connecting the upper ends of the reinforcing plates on both faces integrally to each other to cover the upper part of the existing wall body; and anchors 20, 22 for fixing the lower ends of the reinforcing plates on both faces to the floor slab. The reinforcing plates may be extended upward by a predetermined length from the upper end of the existing wall body to form a raised part at the upper part of the existing wall body.
