Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a repeating device capable of suppressing heat generation without stopping a voice communication function.SOLUTION: A home gateway device 100 interposed among multiple communication apparatuses and repeating communication includes: multiple communication function sections including a communication function section having a voice call function; a device temperature control section 70 for controlling the operations of the multiple communication function sections; and a temperature sensor 11 for detecting the temperature of the home gateway device 100. When the temperature of the home gateway device 100 exceeds a predetermined threshold X °C, the device temperature control section 70 stops a communication operation of at least one communication function section or reduces the power consumption of the one communication function section other than the communication function section having the voice call function among the multiple communication function sections.
