Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a method for determining an optimum value as minimum repetition time (TR).
SOLUTION: On pulse sequence for magnetic resonance imaging, the minimum TR based on the heating limit of a gradient coil or the like, RF pulse interval limit and pulse sequence time length limit is computed (503), and the minimum TR on pulse sequence reduced in the amplitude of a gradient magnetic field signal is recomputed (505). As long as TRi<TRi-1 is in effect, recomputation of the minimum TR is repeated while reducing the amplitude of the gradient magnetic field signal, and TRi-1 when TRi<TRi-1 is no longer in effect is made to be the optimum value.
