Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve reproducing quality of a high speed reproduction at a high multiple speed by writing correct data, if the data exists in inner data, in a reproducing buffer memory. CONSTITUTION:An inner correcting circuit 106 outputs a synchronous pattern, an ID code, inner data, inner check data based on the number of clocks from a head timing reproduced by a series/parallel converter 102, and decodes the inner code to correct an error generated in a recording/reproducing system. In this case, if many errors occurs in one inner code, an inner error detection flag 157 is set to '1'. The inner data of correction data 156 is written in a reproduction buffer memory 108 together with the flag 157. At the time of reading, it is deleted and corrected by using the flag to correct the error which could not be corrected by the inner correction.
