Abstract:
PURPOSE:To execute a stable reproducing video signal processing by deriving the generation frequency of a reproducing value of every sink block of an address for tracking the same value for a prescribed period and correcting a reproducing value of an address. CONSTITUTION:In an address signal reproduced from a tape, address information which is not varied for a prescribed period (1 field period in the case of a field number) such as the field number is decoded by a decoder 106, the number of times of generation of its decoded value is counted by counters 107 - 110 at every decoded value, and when it reaches a value determined in advance, a correct address value for occupying a large majority in the reproduced address values is obtained by deriving the address value corresponding to its counter by an encoder 111. In such a way, by estimating a correct field number, based on the reproducing field number containing an error, a color phase processing of the reproducing video signal can be executed correctly.
