Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To connect necessary pipes in various directions by providing each pipe connecting unit with inlet and outlet openings in both sides facing each other at least in an axial direction.
SOLUTION: A reproducing pump type compressor 2 is connected to a driving motor 1. A pipe connecting block 5 is provided in the housing of the reproducing pump type compressor 2 composed of two housing halves 3 and 4. In the pipe connecting block 5, inlet and outlet openings 6 and 7 positioned, for example, in both side end surfaces and a circumferential surface are provided in different directions. Pipe members 8 formed as, for example, mufflers, are connected to the openings 6 and 7. A corresponding pipe is connected to each of the pipe members 8. According to a pipe laying direction decided based on the structural condition of the installation place of the reproducing pump type compressor, the inlet opening 6 or the outlet opening 7 located in an optimal place is selected for pipe connection.
