Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reproduction system for reproducing video and audio from an optical disk suitably.
SOLUTION: In the reproduction system for reproducing a video title from the optical disk, the number of streams (VTS_AST_Ns) of an audio stream is acquired from video title set information (VTSI) in response to a change input of the audio stream to be compared with a change destination stream number, if the stream number is smaller than the number of streams, the change destination stream number is compared with a corresponding program stream number in the program chain audio stream control, and if the change destination stream number is usable, the audio stream is extracted by the change destination stream number to output an audio signal.
