PURPOSE: To simplify the reserve reading operation of a program timer for VTR by providing a reserve read switch of nonlock switch constitution, by displaying starting-time and ending-time data by turns, and then by starting automatically timepiece display.
CONSTITUTION: The data input part consists of reserve read button 8, data button 9 and mode button 10, and accompanying indicators 11W16. The display part consists of fluorescent display tube 17. As the user operates one of reserve read buttons AWE corresponding to a reserved function to be confirmed, the reserve read mode is set. Consequently, the corresponding reserve data is outputted to display tube 17. The reserve data consists of two kinds of the video recording starting time and ending time, which are discriminated by starting time display 18 and ending time display 19. Both the data are displayed by turns at an interval of constant time and on the completion of the reserve reading operation, the current time display is automatically started.
