This device 20 comprises a container body 13 with an inner container accommodating cooked rice, a cover covering an opening of the body 13, a carbon dioxide supplier 21 supplying carbon dioxide into the container 2 while being disposed outside of the cover 14. The supplier 21 is composed of a gas cartridge 7 being a carbon dioxide supply source, a supply pipe 9 being an introduction member leading carbon dioxide in the cartridge 7 into the body 13 while being disposed between them 7, 13, a gas sensor detecting concentration of carbon dioxide or oxygen in the inner space of the container 2, and a regulation valve 9a controlling supply/stoppage of carbon dioxide.
