Abstract:
To simplify a reset circuit for IC which requires an electrically insulated reset switch.
The charging time constant circuit of resistor R1 and capacitor C1 is serially connected to the first-order side diode of photocoupler 2 and using this charging current as the activating current of photocoupler 2, the reset pulse at the time of power-on is provided from the second-order side. Besides, by providing a reset switch S1 parallelly with the capacitor C1, manual reset is possible by photocoupler activation caused by the instantaneous discharge and first-order side current supply of capacitor C1.
