Abstract:
PURPOSE: To allow access from the outside for inspection and replacement by providing a trip-actuator-accessory combination unit which automatically separates contacts in the event of an overcurrent flowing through the contacts, an operating lever interacting with the unit, and a driving lever holding a latch pin. CONSTITUTION: An actuator-accessory combination unit 29 always operates the operating mechanism of a circuit breaker in response to an overcurrent condition or prevents closure of breaker contacts in response to an insufficient voltage condition. Also, a latch pin 61 supported by a latch support arm 60 and attached to an operating lever 58 via a pin 88 is removed from under a hook 42 formed in an actuator latch 36. Then the operating lever 58 operates the operating mechanism of the circuit breaker. Further, a driving lever 74 is attached to the yoke 75 of a control handle via a pivot pin 76. Therefore, accessory parts can be mounted on-site.
