Title:
RESIDUAL TONER RECOVERY DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH04123082
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent the malfunction of a fullness detecting means by providing a member which limits fluctuation in a direction vertical to the shaft of a spiral body like a coil spring and has an aperture nearly over the entire length of the spiral body positioned in a cleaning device.

CONSTITUTION: Two or more dancing limiting bars 67 are fixed on and along an auger(spiral body like a coil spring) 35 positioned in a housing 11 over or nearly over the entire length of the auger 35, and the auger 35 is constituted so as to be enclosed between the bottom plate 25 of the housing 11 and the plural bars 67. Thus, the auger 35 is prevented from damaging and breaking a cleaning brush, a photosensitive body, a residual toner recovery device, and the fullness detecting means, etc., which are positioned near the auger because a load is imposed on the auger 35 before a torque limiter mechanism acts and the auger is deformed and rushes in the cleaning device or a toner recovery box, and the malfunction of the fullness detecting means is also prevented.
