PURPOSE: To prevent one generation or an additive axial tension by a method wherein a resilient plastic damper arranged between structures forms a rotary body in the shape of a filled-spandrel in cross section, the one end of two ends being a mounting part is fixed to the structure and the other end is inserted in the insertion hole of the structure, and an intermediate part is formed in a vertical shape responding to bending moment distribution.
CONSTITUTION: A resilient plastic damper A is arranged between structural members 1 and 1 and formed in the shape of a rotary body in the shape of a filled-spandrel in cross section so that it is deformed during relative movement in the arbitrary directions of the two structural members to absorb structure vibration energy. The damper A comprises mounting parts 2 at two ends and a damper part 3 being an intermediate part, and the damper part 3 is formed in a vertical shape responding to bending moment generated during exerting of an external force and forming a curve producing a dynamical unit stress in an axial direction. Meanwhile, the mounting part 2 is fixed to the structural member 1 comprising a head part 4 and a thread part 5. The other mounting part 2 is formed in a circular shape and inserted in an insertion hole 6 formed in the structure 1 and moved in an axial direction. Thus, since, no axial tension is generated at the damper A, during execution of a work, mounting of the damper A can be carried out at any time.
