To provide a resin-based roof structure which can minimize the fire spreading of a resin-based roofing material laid on a roof, and which can also comply with a fire resistance test based on the Building Standard Law.
In this resin-based roof structure A, a sheathing roof board 3 is fixed onto a bed 2 of the roof 1; an underlaying material 4 is laid on the sheathing roof board 3; and after that, the resin-based roofing material 5 is sequentially laid on the underlaying material 4. Structurally, the bed 2 is formed of either wood or steel; the sheathing roof board 3 is formed of any one of plywood, a particle board, a fiber board, a cement board with a wood-based material, and a vitreous multilayer board; the underlaying material 4 is formed of either asphalt roofing or a modified asphalt roofing sheet; and the roofing material 5 is formed of an unsaturated polyester resin corrugated sheet into which glass fibers are mixed.
