PURPOSE: To heighten the load bearing ability of a resin bearing by forming it from 0.1-50wt.% Zn oxide wisker, 0.5-15wt.% lubricant, and the remainder which consists of at least one of the polyacetal, polyamide, polyphenylene sulfide, polybutyl telephthalate, and super-highpolymer polyethylene.
CONSTITUTION: The base of a resin bearing material consists of at least one of the polyacetal(POM), polyamide(PA), polyphenylene sulfide(PPS), polybutyl telephthalate(PBT), and super-highpolymer polyethylene(UHDPE). 7 this wiskers of Zn oxide are added in an amount ranging 0.1-50wt.% and below 0.1wt.% results in insufficient effect of adding while exceeding 50wt.% makes it difficult to mix and knead the wiskers and the base of resin bearing material. Adding 0.5-15wt.% lubricant such as synthesized oil or mineral oil will reduce the friction coefficient, enhance the anti-abrasiveness, and as a result, increase the load bearing ability.
