To provide a recycled pellet which is excellent in crystallinity, and free from any degradation of the strength, disagreeable odor or coloring by specifying the limiting viscosity number of a resin of a bottle with a label stuck thereon having an ink layer which can be removed in an alkaline hot water on one side of a thermoplastic resin polymer film to allow the bottle to be pulverized with the label stuck thereon.
The resin of this polyester resin bottle mainly consists of a polyethylene terephthalate, and is 0.60-1.0 dl/g in limiting viscosity number. The bottle with a label consisting of this resin stuck thereon is recovered after the use for the bottle is terminated, and after the bottle is cleaned, the bottle is pulverized, and an ink layer is removed in an alkaline hot water, the bottle is cleaned in water, and dried, wind-selected to obtain the mixed flake of the bottle and the label. The flake is recycled into a recycled pellet by an extruder. The recycled pellet using this bottle is less in coloring or disagreeable odor, and a fiber, a film and a formed article of high quality can be obtained. Its strength is also high, and the pellet can be used for extensive applications.
