Abstract:

To provide a resin coated aluminum alloy sheet material for an aluminum electrolytic capacitor case having excellent formability even if formed into the alumnum electrolytic capacitor case having a large height/diameter ratio using a volatile press oil.

The resin coated aluminum alloy sheet material for the aluminum electrolytic capacitor case in which a wax particle comprising a resin layer thickness of 2 m or larger and 22 m or smaller containing wax using either of a polyethylene wax and a Carnuba wax, the sum of the length of the wax particle cut by any one straight line having a length of 100 m on the surface of the resin layer of 10% or more, and a cross sectional shape having a resin layer thickness of 80% or smaller and 0.1 m or larger is 3 or more and 50 or less; and a wax particle having a length of more than 80% of the resin layer thickness is less than 10 does not cause cracks and pealing on the resin layer after formation even if formed into the aluminum electrolytic capacitor case having the large height/diameter ratio.
