Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin-coated metal wire excellent in frictional property of the surface of resin coating.SOLUTION: In a resin-coated metal wire, which is such a metal wire that a part or the whole of the surface of a metal substrate 1 is coated with a resin coating 2 having a thickness of 1 μm or more, a hardness of a position having a depth of 0.3 μm from the surface of the resin coating 2 is 0.2 mN/μmor more and 0.8 mN/μmor less. The hardness is an indentation hardness measured in an ultrafine indentation hardness test based on ISO 14577.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
