To provide a resin-coated metallic board having a resin film which is excellent in coating properties, lubricity, processability, earthing properties and other characteristics as well as in anti-corrosion properties even after an alkali-defatting process and tape-peeling off resistance.
The resin-coated metallic board is provided with a resin film obtained from an emulsion composition containing as a main ingredient an ethylene-unsaturated carboxylic acid copolymer. The emulsion composition contains an amine having a boiling point of 100°C or lower in an amount of 0.2-0.8 mole per mole of a carboxylic group of the ethylene-unsaturated carboxylic acid copolymer, a monovalent metal compound in an amount of 0.02-0.4 mole per mole of the carboxylic group of the ethylene-unsaturated carboxylic acid copolymer and a cross-linking agent having 2 or more functional groups reactive with a carboxylic group in an amount of 1-20 mass% relative to 100 mass% of a solid content of the emulsion composition. The emulsion composition contains substantially no amine having a boiling point of higher than 100°C nor ammonia.
