Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent corrosion that may occur from an inserted part at the end of a resin coated pipe by deeply inserting the part into the bore of other fitting member that the other fitting member overlaps with the top of a resin coating layer.
SOLUTION: In a resin coated pipe such that the outer peripheral surface of its pipe material 6 near end is masked over a predetermined length and a resin coating layer is formed on the remaining part of the surface of the pipe material 6, with the masked part formed into an inserted part for intimately inserting into the bore of other fitting member, the end of the resin coating layer 7 is molded by melting, and a resin engaging part 18 extending along the inserted part 8 and capable of being fitted into the bore of the other fitting member (elastic pipe), along with the inserted part 8, is formed at the molten part.
