To provide a resin-coated steel sheet which is obtained by coating both sides of a steel sheet with a resin film, and has excellent working adhesion for the resin film and excellent preventability in the occurrence of hair in the forming of a shear spun can, to provide the shear spun can which is obtained by using the steel sheet, and has excellent corrosion resistance to contents, and to provide a production method of the resin-coated steel sheet.
The steel components and material of a steel sheet used as an original sheet are controlled, and the face orientations in the crystal faces are controlled. Thus, a steel sheet thinner than the conventional one is used, and the increase of the thickness of the steel sheet in the upper end part of the can wall on drawing is suppressed, and the substantial ironing quantity in an ironing stage as the main stage where hair occurs is reduced. Simultaneously with this, the working hardening of the steel sheet in the process of the working is suppressed, and the increase of the deformation resistance thereof is reduced. Further, a thinned layer subjected to molten tin treatment in a fixed amount is formed on the surface of the steel sheet, and the surface thereof is coated with a non-oriented polyester resin film.
