Abstract:

To easily inspect the presence or absence of a hole opened by driving a nail and to obtain a pipe without generating harmful gas at the time of burning by forming a resin layer by polyamide based resin of a specified value in Shore durometer hardness (D shape) in a metallic flexible pipe coated with a resin layer.

A resin coated temporary conduit 3 to be used as a gas piping within a building is constituted by coating the outer periphery with a resin layer 2 so as to compensate durability of a thin metallic flexible pipe, that is, a thin stainless steel corrugate pipe 1. In this case, the resin layer 2 is formed by polyamide based resin of 70 to 75 in Shore durometer hardness (D shape), more particularly, by nylon 12 excellent in fire retardancy, strength and low temperature brittleness. In resin of this resin layer 2, adding agent of weathering agent, flame retarder, antioxidant and coloring agent is properly blended. As a result, a hole opened by driving a nail is made difficult to be closed and the presence or absence of the hole can be surely inspected.
