Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a resin composition for a coating material for an outside surface of a can having excellent coating properties on a wet ink and high coating film performances such as hardness, processability and retort resistance.
SOLUTION: This resin composition for a coating material for an outside surface of a can comprises a polyester resin having 5-250mgKOH/g hydroxyl value and at least two or more amino resins of one or more each selected from both the following groups (a) and (b) as film-forming components: (a) a highly alkyl etherified benzoguanamine resin having ≥2.5 content of combined formalin based on one triazine nucleus and ≥1.5 etherification degree of methylol groups and (b) a low alkyl etherified benzoguanamine resin having <2.5 content of the combined formalin based on the one triazine nucleus and ≤1.5 etherification degree of the methylol groups.
