Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition for coil impregnation capable of obtaining a cured product which improves crazing resistance and hydrolysis resistance, is excellent in heat resistance and oil resistance and has high adhesive force, and to provide a coil for an automobile motor formed by impregnating the resin composition for coil impregnation with a coil portion.SOLUTION: A resin composition for coil impregnation contains (A) an epoxy ester resin, (B) a polyethylene terephthalate-modified unsaturated polyester resin, (C) a reactive diluent and (D) an organic peroxide, where a number average molecular weight of polyethylene terephthalate used for the polyethylene terephthalate-modified unsaturated polyester resin is 20,000 to 60,000, a mass ratio of the polyethylene terephthalate component contained in the total amount of the resin composition is 0.5-5.0%, and (C) the reactive diluent is a di(meth)acrylate derivative of polyalkylene oxide having a number average molecular weight of 250 to 2,000.SELECTED DRAWING: None
