PURPOSE: To obtain a resin composition for denture base capable of carrying out melt molding or repairing at a low temperature, excellent in harmless property of cured product, mechanical strength such as impact resistance and adhesion to other repairing agent.
CONSTITUTION: (A) A polymer containing ≥50wt.% methyl methacrylate as a component and preferably having 1000-1000000, especially 3000-100000 number- average molecular weight is blended as essential components with (B) polyvinylidene fluoride, preferably having 10000-200000 number-average molecular weight, preferably at a ratio of NO-10000 pts.wt. component B based on 100 pts.wt. component A to provide the objective resin composition for denture base having above-mentioned effects. Furthermore, the component A is a component for improving harmless property in oral cavity, transparency and adhesion to repairing material and the component B is a component acting on improvement for stability in oral cavity and processability of resin composition for denture base, lowering of water absorption thereof, improvement of chemical resistance, impact resistan etc.
