PURPOSE: To improve an offset preventing effect and to increase adaptability to high speed copying by using a resin compsn. prepd. by adding a radical initiator to a vinyl monomer dissolved or dispersed a polyolefin polymer and polymerizing these.
CONSTITUTION: A polyolefin polymer such as PE, PP, PE-propylene copolymers or the like (it is preferable in terms of offset resistant that the ratio of isotactic structure is ≥80mol%, and weight average mol.wts. are 50,000W800,000) is dissolved or dispersed in a vinyl monomer (styrene, vinyl toluene etc.). The solution or dispersion is effected under agitation at temps. higher than the curing temp. of the polyolefin polymer (if necessary, an org. solvent is allowed to coexist). Any of known polymerization initiators may be used. The polyolefin polymer is mixed and dispersed uniformly with and in the binder resin, and the good prevention of offset phenomena is made possible.
