Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide a resin compsn. having improved oil resistance, chemical resistance, etc., by compounding a specific polyolefin resin, a polyphenylene ether resin, and a hydrogenation product of an arom. vinyl compd.-conjugated diene compd. block copolymer. CONSTITUTION:A resin compsn. is prepd. by compounding a polyolefin resin, a polyphenylene ether resin optionally contg. PS, and a hydrogenation product of an arom. vinyl compd.-conjugated diene compd. block copolymer. The polyolefin resin is selected from the group consisting of an ultrahigh-mol.-wt. high-density PE having a wt.-average mol.wt. (Mw) of 1,000,000 or higher or an MI of 0.1 or lower, a homo-PP having an MI of 0.1 or lower, an ultrahigh- mol-wt. random PP having an Mw of 1,000,000 or higher or an MI of 0.1 or lower and an ethylene content of 1-5%, an ultrahigh-mol.-wt. block PP having an Mw of 1,000,000 or higher or an MI of 0.1 or lower and an ethylene content of 3-10%, an isotactic PP having a stereoregularity measured by NMR of 93% or higher, and a polyolefin resin contg. 0.1-1 pt. 1,3; 2,4-p,p'-(alkyl-substd.) phenylidenesorbitol.
