Abstract:
To provide a resin composition able to form transparent film-like optical members having a high refractive index and film-like optical members using the same, and a method for producing the resin composition.
The resin composition comprises (A) a metal-containing high-refractive index intermediate, (B) a polymer or an oligomer and/or (C) a reactive monomer, wherein a component of (A) the metal-containing high-refractive index intermediate is prepared by mixing a titanium alkoxide, diethanolamine and water and further heating the mixture to remove an alcohol as a byproduct of the hydrolysis by distillation. The film-like optical members using the composition and the method for producing the resin composition are also provided.
